Climate Initiative
Noé21 supports the Federal Initiative on Climate filed in February 2008 with more than 150,000 signatures. This calls for CO2 emissions in Switzerland to decrease by at least 30% by 2020 compared to 1990 levels. Although the ideal goal should be -40%, this initiative, if accepted, would mark a decisive step in the right direction. The vote is expected by 2013.

Federal CO2 Act
The CO2 law has for objective to reduce CO2 emissions due to the use of fossil energy by 10% compared to 1990, by using a CO2 tax for example.
