In December of 2009, in the midst of the COP15 in Copenhagen, Noé21 addressed a petition to the constituent assembly of Geneva with more than 1300 signatures. The petition asked to include in the new constitution of the Canton of Geneva an article saying the region should reduce its greenhouse gases emissions according to the IPCC recommandations for industrialized countries.
