As a non-governmental organization Noé21 follows the Swiss culture of consensus and consultation with stakeholders and attaches great importance to interpersonal relationships.

The strength of Noé21 is to cross the economic, social and political borders and to open dialogue with all circles. This approach stems from the experience of its members who are active in other associations, and who are convinced that the main difficulty lies in the lack of dialogue on the climate challenges between the different communities (employers, employees, environmentalists, consumers, politicians and citizens). Today the growing consensus about climate change allows this approach to take shape.

In particular, we achieved a climate plan for Geneva and local authorities are acting for its implementation (legislative bills, constituent assembly). We also organize seminars (management of energy demand, timber construction) and carry out research to evaluate examples of energy conservation in the world.
