1. Noé21 is an environmental group that reviews and implements solutions to the climate emergency.

2. Noé21 is a plural group, where the complementary technical skills are considered fertile ground, and the diversity of philosophical opinions are welcome. It remains an environmental group, in the sense that it will always favor in his studies of the solutions mentioned in paragraph 1 above, a mild and decentralized solution based on recycling, compared to a centralized and cumbersome solution. Noé21 does not however close the door to solutions technically heavy, if they show real potential for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Thus, we continue to evaluate pragmatically and periodically reassess-controversial solutions such as nuclear power, GMOs or carbon capture and storage. If any of these solutions demonstrate its ability to show a positive ecological balance one day, we would be ready to integrate and to study it as we study the soft solutions.

3. For a 95% reduction of GHG emissions of industrialized countries in 2050 (IPCC recommandations) not only we will need renewable energy sources, but also energy savings, and changes in behavior as well. A solution that few Organizations point out since many suggest it will be enough to switch to cleaner fuels, and that our lives will continue as before. However these clean solutions will not suffice, we will also have to change our way of life.

4. We live in a market economy, we will favor solutions that promote socio-environmental regulation of the economy.

5. To implement the solutions we study, the dialogue is important. Environmentalists, scientists, bankers, industrialists and governments must work together, each within its field of competence.
