New Orientation for the Economy in the 21st century: Noe21 defines itself as a capacity and action centre promoting solutions to global climate change. Noe21 inscribes itself in the Swiss culture of consensus building and cooperation, respecting interpersonal relationships and adopting a non-dogmatic approach. Noe21 is a capacity centre in the sense that it maintains a critical stance towards the solutions it evaluates and studies all of them, market based instruments, behaviour changes and innovative technology solutions. Noe21 is an organisation in action, because it would try the practicallity of the solutions it evaluates. For example, we are setting up an ethical and green investment fund, with a Geneva based bank, and this will allow us to try the practicality of our theories in the field!
